A1A Citrus Racing was organized in 1986 with David Froehlich Jr. as its driver. David was a former powerboat racer who set numerous competition records and won twelve National Championships. He was inducted into the Hall of Champions three times for outstanding accomplishments in that sport. David successfully competed in the NASCAR Legends Series where he once again encountered many victories throughout the U.S. and Canada.
